Kagando.org  The official website of the Kagando Mission Hospital Foundation Inc., the USA equivalent of Friends of Kagando in the UK. This foundation continues to make generous contributions to KARUDEC, particularly community based projects such as water supply schemes in the nearby mountain villages.  They have recently agreed funds for an extension to the Maternity Department for newborn babies.

Medical Mission News (MMN)   The UK based charitable organisation organising CONTAINERS of supplies to mission organisations abroad, including Kagando and Kisiizi Hospitals.  These leave approximately every four months

Friends of Kisiizi   One of Kagando's sister hospitals, Kisiizi, near Kabale in South West Uganda.

Friends of Kiwoko   Another of Kagando's sister hospitals, Kiwoko, North of Kampala in the Luwero Triangle.

German Medical Mission Team [Missionsarzte Team e.V] is a Christian Mission based in Germany supporting medical volunteers at Kagando and elsewhere in Africa.  There are two doctors on three and one year placements and a medium term (six months) medical student at Kagaondo currently (Dec 2008).  One of the doctors, Sigrid, is writing a regular news letter.  Elly, a pharmacist, completed nearly two years working in Kagando and has recently returned to Germany.

Africa Inland Mission is a non-denominational international mission organisation founded in 1895.  Dr Carl Becker, an American AIM missionary forced out of Congo by the troubles there in 1965, was the first doctor to live and work at Kagando and set up the original hospital service.

Tearfund is a UK based Christian Charity aimed at the relief of poverty throughout the world.  It provided substantial funds for the development of Kagando Hospital from the 1980s until 2002.

All Saints Church - Lindfield, Sussex   The Parish Church of Lindfield, home church for two Trustees of Friends of Kagando, is a long-term supporter of  Kagando.

St Mary's Parish Churches of Handcross, Pease Pottage, Slaugham and Warninglid  This rural parish in rural West Sussex has also been a long-term supporter of Kagando and home church for Rob and Jen Morris, current Chair of the Trustees of 'Friends of Kagando' and past Kagando residents.  Rob is a Reader with St Mary's.  This community initiated the fund for the new 'Diagnostic Imaging Department (Xray and Ultrasound) and obtained the improved Xray machine.

St Mary with St Matthew Church - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire   This town centre Church made Kagando Hospital the subject of its 2006 Christmas appeal, which enabled the building of the new Diagnostic Imaging (Xray and Ultrasound scan) Department to go ahead. It has again chosen Kagando as recipient for its 2008 appeal.

Nzirambi Orphans Talent Development Centre (NOTDEC)   This UK based charity supports the orphanage in nearby Kisinga started more than 20 years ago by Dorothy Nzirambi while nursing at Kagando, and a new wing near Kasese town. There are strong links with KARUDEC. The Kisinga wing is being re-located to a new compound in nearby Kabarizi, which will include some land for a small scale farm.

CMF Healthserve   The international arm of the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) in the UK. This site provides information on opportunities for medical students and doctors to work in developing countries worldwide, particularly those involved in Christian mission. It also provides health advice and access to free reference texts and illustrations suitable for use in low resource situations.

InterHealth is a specialist travel health provider to people working in the aid, development, mission and voluntary sectors, both in the UK and overseas.  Andrew Holt, a senior manager at Interhealth, was the Director of KARUDEC immediately prior to its full handover to the Church of Uganda management.
