Rachel
is a GP trainee from Bath in the UK who has taken a year out of her
training to attend the Tropical Diseases course in Liverpool and then
put her knowledge into practice in Africa. Her medical student
elective was in Uganda (Kisiizi) and she had visited Kagando.
Apart from some help with accommodation while in Uganda her time has
been almost entirely self-funded. Friends of Kagando were happy to
claim her as a volunteer!
